Trimming Rabbit Nails

they have clippers that you use, they have a hole that you stick the nail in and it chops it off. just dont quick it or you will look way worse then that.

Use the nail file machine that you can buy on TV.. it's not sold in stores, and I know it sounds tacky to buy something off an infomercial, but it's supposed to be fawesome and doesn't hurt the pet by cutting to the quick..

Get a set like below, also get some 'quick stop' incase you cut a vein so you can stop it really quick (They can not bleed to death) and just make sure you look at the side of the nail and you will see where the nerve ends.

My wife does grooming at Petsmart and the chick there uses these ones which will probably be listed as 'cat nail clippers' at your pet store but she has like rabbits and shit she puts in shows so she must know wtf she is talking about.

tie it on a leash to your car, drive around the block a few times dragging it. that should wear them down. Or maybe a bunny treadmill made from a belt sander. dip them in liquid nitrogen and shash them with a hammer. Just afew ideas off the top of my head.

trimming the nails on a rabbit is no easy task. i know ours doesnt like it at all. when you are trying to trim them try laying him on his back on a flat table and then trimming. our rabbit doesnt like to be held for more than like 2 minutes no matter what but most rabbits if you lay them on their back on a table or something they dont budge until you flip em back over.

what kind of rabbit is that? my girlfriend and i have a mini rex. i named him, Bunnysaurus Rex. haha clever i know.
