Trim Ring around Port

Well I got my box built but as everyone who has cut carpet knows, it can be quite the pain to get a clean edge. So Im wondering if anyone makes a plastic trim that would fit my mid ported box, or would that effect the air flow.

you could use fiberglass. i could probably do it for a fee. all that is needed is the exact dimension of the opening. and how much of the trim you want to fill around the baffle. like 1" or 2. if the trim is **** near flush as it goes into the port then it should not cause any issues.

Just frame it and round it over. Paint it black or gray.

use a heat gun to make the excess carpet draw up. will be neater.
