Treo ssx 750.1 questions

Anyone know what the true specs on this amp? Its rated at 750 x 1 at 2 ohms. Ive read that you can run them down to 1/2 ohm daily, and to expect about 1500 at 1 ohm.

Also, what do they normally sell for used? Cant come across any threads where they have been sold.

Finally, would you recommend the amps or no? Ive also read about 1500.1s catching on fire, but havent read much at all (good or bad) about the 750.1

an amp catching on fire is most likely a faulty install, not the amp. i have heard that they are reliable amps, but nothing to write home about.
