Sold Treo SSX 15'' and Audiopipe 30001d

I have a Treo SSX 15'' and an AP30001d. Both have been listed before but cant seem to move 'em. I love the SSX so it probally will stay with me unless a good trade comes along. It is in a 3.5^ft. box tuned to 32Hz that I can include if the deal is right. It hasn't seen much power at all, I had an broken alphasonik amp on it before the AP amp so I doubt it has seen close to 2k. The 1500w the AP is putting out is just as loud or louder that the Alphasonik amp. Also got a new Team PSI dustcap for it. Its in great shape. It is underrated at 2500w daily and TONS more for burps. The AP30001d is practically new, I got it about a week ago from "hotboxn". I have a D2 sub and I cant run it at 1 ohm since my electrical isn't up to par. I have original box with bass knob. It does rated power at 3000w @ 2 ohm. I know people are probally going to post dump, but it has been said that with the right electrical you can run it at 1 ohm for 3k. There is no gurantee that it will work without going to protect when your voltage drops. It is currently mounted in my truck giving the SSX 1500w on 1 channel.

Im pretty much open to all trades. 2k-3k @ 1 ohm amp would be nice. Ill also consider 8''s, 10''s, 12''s, etc.

yea i have not personally had one built for me, but i have heard 2 people with pwk boxs and they were ok but not for the price. i think of pwk like JL audio. good stuff but for the price you can get way more and better

pwk charges $50 for a design, you can have the box built by someone local to you. Having a enclosure designed and tuned for your sub as well as for your vehicle will give you the best results. Dont take my word for it, do some research.

I dont know everything and I do make mistakes from time to time, but I know the treo ssx sub very well and its one of my favorites. I also know that pete's designs out perform most others out there.

IN MY OPINION if you go and buy a sub from best buy, then grab the $100 enclosure thats on the shelf. If you go out and purchase one of the best subs out there, you want to get the most you can possibly get out of it. Try and find the best designers and builders you can, pete is one of them, but not the only one. He is the one I choose to use, do some research and you will find that out of the thousands of so called builders, only a few can back there talk with science, and acoustics is science.

hey bobby, your amp is mono, even though it has 2 speaker outputs. you have to read the manual to make sure there isnt any weird way to wire it like running negative from one end and positive from the other like a bridge (you cant bridge a mono amp) but wiring your sub to 1ohm will get all power from amp even though you are on one of those outputs.

i was checking the classifieds here and saw a few amps that fit your needs, just wanted to point them out to you. hopefully you can sell your amp soon.

acoustics doesnt account for much after you put the box in that certain vehicle, Imp. rise and all that noise... thats why you build a box to tune @ __ hz, but on the mic, it peaks differently, on almost any box you build/ car you put that box in.

that is why you take the sub as well as the car into consideration when designing the enclosure.
