Transfer GPA

For any honors, they look at all your classes. Outside of that it depends on your University. I had a friend going to school in San Antonio, and they only used his accepted credits for his GPA at that school. While my schools took all my grades, even the ones I didn't transfer in.

Does any have an experience or know if, in general, when you apply to a college for a transfer and they calculate your GPA, do they include only classes that transfer or do they look at every grade and apply it to the transfer GPA?

As far as your specific question they only count credits that transfer over to your major. If you have 80 credit hours from university A, and transfer to University B they usually will only accept 60. For the 60 transfer credit hours, they will apply them wherever they are needed however they are ungraded and referred to as pass/fail only. This is how most schools I am familiar with work, you must contact your registrar office for the correct answer.

And yeah I know that in terms of applying credits to the degree grades/GPA don't matter as long as you get credit, I mean in terms of the admission process.

And yeah extreme run on sentence. Oh well.
