Are you serious...

#1 YES it would be considerably louder if you can power them properly (9500's are actually pretty **** loud subs)

#2 Have you seen what they go for on ebay?.. make the trade..try em' if you dont like them.. sell them on the bay.. buy another TC3k and have about $150 in your pocket..

so HELL YES make the trade..

No chance I'd make the trade. With the TC you have more cone area, more clean xmax, and just a better sounding sub overall. Only way you'll get more output with the 9500's is by adding more power or tuning higher. And even if it is louder, it'll still sound like arse. Just personal experience, I think they sound like crap, like every other MTX sub from that same line.

the MTX's might be louder but will sound like trashy trash compared to that TC3K. i used to have one and had a pal w/ 2 9500 12's and they were defs louder, but my TC got deeper and sounded way cleaner
