Well my dmm doesn't measure to the tenth when measuring ohms...my I took my d2 hdc3's out and all the coild read 2ohm...even the one that seems to have coil rub and not sound right reads right. I'm gonna try a new dmm when I can. Should I check anything else. How do I check the spiders, ect. Visually they look fine.

For those that didn't know, one of my hdc3's started sounding like it was rubbing so I took it out, but reads fine.

The cone might be misaligned, causing it to slightly rub rather than the coil having burnt and rub.
clif notes:

well I ran the sub for 2 months and no problems....than about a month ago when it was cold out I push and start hearing the noise....how would the coil do that?

Nobody cares.

well when I'm tryin to get a new setup goin and plan on gettin rid of these, I DO....and I im sure whom ever buy these wants to know the story too.

Soo looks like one good sub and one with possible coil misalignment....anymore opinions
