Tommy "King of Bass" McKinney vs. Jonathon Price

Can't watch the vid right now, as I'm at work.

It all just seems too crazy to be believable....some dipshit forks out tens of thou$ands, loads up his needing-a-wash truck on a lowboy, and pays no attention to the fcuking wires hanging off it everywhere?

C'mon!

Someone post some pics... I was reading a little about it on FB but didnt care too much... I dont know him personally but hey if you arent gunna do it yourself you should at least take the time to watch over your build... IMO he is as much of a dumb ass as the guys that put it in for dropping 20K and not even paying attention...
he was supposed to stand there every day for 7-8 months 3 states away? Most shops (mechanic, tire, audio etc...) don't allow people in their bays for "insurance purposes" anyway. Point is, you shouldn't have to supervise an install when taking it to a "professional" at a shop. Obvioudly he trusted this individual for some reason or another...that part I have not figured out just yet. From what a few other have been saying on the forums the tommy guy didn't even do most of the build. I'm guessing he paid someone and pocketed a hefty amount of money to sit on his ***.

well this is kind of the debate over on caco, ie, why in the world did JP take the truck from the KOF (king of fail, thanks taylor) and not make him fix it on the spot.....but I have to say, if I got my truck from someone after 7 months and a crapload of money, and it looked like that....they would not be getting an opportunity to "fix" it or, more likely, mess it up more. I'd get the truck off their hands as quickly as possible, photo/video the whole process, and they'd be getting a less than cordial phone call from my lawyer the next day. I hope this is the route that JP went.

I know he visited the shop often though and always took pics of it in the shop... He never noticed any of the wiring or anything out of place until months of work was over?

I know of no shops local that will even let you in the bays here at all... and everything is paid up front, and if there is an issue after it you have to take them to small claims court or other median to get the money back out of them... which is why I do all my own installs, but if I did pay someone to do an install I would as I said in my previous post be in Jail at this moment period...

also, we really have no idea how either JP or KOF is handling the situation, so we should give both of them the benefit of the doubt. We know that JP is getting his truck fixed somewhere else but that's really it.

And flex, on the way home from the shop JP had to stop at a muffler repair shop because his exhaust broke.....they had the truck up on a lift and i'm sure that if he didn't see the whole story at the KOF's shop, he saw it all then...

Point.

Wud take more self-control than I cud ever manage in that instance, tho!

This dude, JP, in his 70's? Gots too-low-to-measure test levels? On estrogen?

I just can't imagine any guy leaving his "baby" with someone for that length of time, forking over that much dough, and either not noticing the shit job or noticing and letting it slide.....

Crazy shtuff, mang

No idea...the last I saw of the build log it was only part of the box..which wasn't the worst part of the build. Maybe that's all he saw and the rest was done at the last minute? From the looks of it all the trim and wiring was done in about 30 mins...lol

Ah, okay.

Makes a bit more sense, then.

Still, tho, dude hadda be hellah sleepy , or high as a Georgia pine , when he was at the shop to fail to notice that the job was a professional azz-reaming, right.....??

Hell, maybe its just me.

I don't let people touch my truck unless I have to, and then I ain't a very trusting soul
