To Mechanics, please help?

My 1999 4dr Chevy Blazer is burning way too much gas ($3.05 a gallon now) so it would be cheaper to get it fixed. last time i did a tune up there was gas on he spark plugs......

I would check the 02 sensors,they are prolly shot depending on how many miles are on the truck.

Fresh filers,air,fuel also...

When did you last change your oil? Filters? Plugs? Wires? Do you have a CEL on?

would a bad o2 sensor cause it to burn more gas?

Check Engine Light, a bad O2 will cause the motor to run really rich, so yes it will be burning more fuel.

Alright then there shouldn't be any major problems, just do the general maintenance to the engine.
