Tiny weaponry! just wait until I find a hampster!

You should probably get in touch with the military then. They stopped using flechette rounds in personal weapons years ago due to the incredible ineffectiveness of them past 100 yds. Your's reaching out to almost triple the distance would sell like hot cakes. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
lol...Truthfully they are a novelty I have held on to for a while. I shot a couple of rounds at 80 yds, 8 to 10 penetrations in a silhouette out of 19 wasn't too bad I thought, out of a sabot round...They advertise a incapacitating range of 250+ yds...I guess that would be 1 flechette to the eye?..lol..regardless, they are very formidable and like you say, @100yds they are very deadly..I would not want to be shot at by them.

that's good if you have the sabot loaded versions aka real flechette rounds instead of the jank **** out there that is just darts stuffed in a shell. The other main drawback the Military had with them was the ridiculously short life of the barrell when using them. I know someone that did some testing with them way back when. They did testing with the Spas-12 and the 870. The barrells were only lasting through 100-150 rounds lol. The metal fins tear them up rather quckly it seems . //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Exactly why I say they are a novelty, I have the Remington 870 and you could see where some of the fins actually sliced through the side of the sabot on the 2 I shot. I did not want to tear up a perfectly good shotgun on bs like that. It is hard to beat a Brenneke slug or just plain plain old 0 Buckshot.

I got a el' cheapo single, break barrel from wally world for like $100 to shoot them lol Try getting a couple of those big arse punching bag balloon things they sell for kids. Fill them up with shaving cream. That or watermelon or pumpkins are my favorite flechette targets.

This seems like a common combo. I'd imagine many fucked up things have discovered this way. Pics?
oddly enough this same combo led to me rewiring my subs to one ohm with a I don't give a **** a attitude at 2 in the morning but I'm glad to say everything I did while "slightly" buzzed has led to some awesome ideas! and when I wake back up sober it's like someone came in and did all the crap I didn't feel like doing or was to scared to try! But they did it just the way I wanted it and it all works great!...............too bad I don't remember any of it!

well I got bored again and wanted a better way to hold this thing to aim it and whatever I did had to look good, so I grabbed up my Italian rose grips from my Beretta and some spring steel along with the dremel kit! Well thee hours later I have replaced the forward bow retaining plate with the top portion of the new handle laminated each side of the spring steel in rosewood and sanded out the shape then applied minwax wood finish and polished, and I think it looks pretty damn good especially when you think about how small it is!
