Time for a new phone... HTC Evo or Samsung Epic for Sprint???

I used to have a touch pro 2 and I used the keyboard a lot so when I switched to the evo it ****** for a while. The evo is awesome though just had to get familiar with it. I think battery life will be an issue no matter which way you pick. There plenty of apps/widgets to help with that though. Internet on my evo is crazy fast.

Depending on what your needs are they are both Kick A$$ devices with the Epic 4G you get the brilliant Samsung display along with a slide out keyboard. The EVO does have the bigger screen and front facing camera. both have the same power as far as battery life its a mini computer. Sedio does make extended battery's for the EVO and the Epic is under developmental stages at the moment.

Also I believe the EVO is running 2.2 froyo to where the Epic is on 2.1? I may be wrong, but what a buddy told me.

A guy at work has an Epic here and is pretty bee's knee's......I like it as it has a full keyboard, but both are nice phones, just be prepared to do a lot of charging with it.

I have a 9700 Bold 2 from Blackberry and love this phone. Suited me well for last year, but going to make the switch to Andriod for awhile me thinks come upgrade time.

How's the battery life on it? Iv heard its an issue that it don't last long?
If you use it alot, than the battery life aint so good. If not, then you have nothing to worry about.

On a full charge, I watched 2-3 20 minute shows, and almost half the battery life was gone. Other than that, I love it.

Thing is, phones like the Epic or EVO are like mini computers, so of course you will be using it...a lot! Some people use it more than their own computers, so keep that in mind. You can buy battery extenders and of couse shut a lot of stuff down you are not using at a certain time, but it will go fast.

That is what I like about my Bold 2, I can still get along fine on the browser, which most complain about and still get close to 2 full days on a charge.

Weigh thee options, which you seem to be doing, but both those phones have pretty weaksauce battery life as you wont be able to put it down, lol!
