Does he need to QUIT, NO! Why should he, its EZ money, thats why hes still playing! You do realize the pay him to just show up so QUIT WHAT?

If you want your children to emulate Tiger thats YOUR choice, YOUR child..

I want my 2 boys to emulate my wife and myself, hard working, high values, compassionate people. Personally, I could care LESS if Tiger played again, won a $100 billion, or F'd 100 billion women, dude has NO effect on my life or my boys whats so ever. If my boys choose to play golf or any other sport I want them to be the first THEM not the next Tiger Woods.

The problem is we hold actors/althetes up to different standards then we do ourselves. Oh there great, there this, there that, but fact of that matter is they just can shoot, kick, run or act better then you or I....

Just keep telling your child these people are great... while they keep doing the same things and making the same mistakes everyone else does.

Yes, athletes are just people, just human. But they are people who have been handed the good life on a platter. When life comes too easily, it easily corrupts. That's what is happening so often in these cases.

As for the kids, you seem to think you can control who your kids emulate. You're learn that is false all too often. At best, its an up hill battle. I wish you the best with your boys however. Maybe you will succeed where so many other parents fail. But, if you do, you will be the exception, not the norm.

Not in golf, sorry my friend it's going to take alot more than that for his fans to move on.

they'll get over it...if people forgave kobe for those alleged **** charges then people will forgive tiger for cheating on his wife. thats all he did...he didnt take steriods, kill anybody, or anything like that the man cheated on his wife so what get over it.

and if people still want to talk down on tiger then if i were him i would just not golf at all this year and just focus on my family and see how much attention golf will get without him. TV Ratings for the PGA have already dropped since tiger hasn't been playing. golf/PGA needs tiger more than tiger needs them

The discussion keeps coming back to who 'needs' what. Tiger only 'needs' nothing anymore because he used his position to earn his hundreds of millions of dollars. He 'needed' public support a lot more several years ago, but now that he is a multi-multi millionaire ($600,000,000) I guess he doesn't "need" anyone anymore. This goes directly back to the problem, coddling celebrities and turning them into people above the law and above the social structure that put them into their position of power.
