i was just wondering how much (estimate) tickets usually are for having your stereo too loud. ive heard stories about $25 and $50, but the cop that pulled me over yesterday said next time it's gonna be a $700 //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif wtf. so yea, curious to hear peoples stories, maybe any info or feedback on this topic.

I have had them go over 100 smacks twice, but never more than that. i dont think they can legally take away your property like that i think the cops were just talking shit trying to scare you guys. i was pulled over by the same cop twice and he just laughed the second time while he was handing me my ticket.

they can take it from the begining, i believe. u are using the equipment to break the law. the equipment is attached to your car. they might take that car too.

Umm.. I don't know about taking your stereo. Sounds like BS to me. Not without you being able to get it back. As far as taking your car, yes they can. But not for a stereo violation. The cops have the right to seize any vehicle used in the commission of a felony. If you live in a state where noise laws are felonies, MOVE. NOW.
