I have a 99 Nissan Maxima, and it takes about 70 to fill my tank, and I only get 280-320/Tank w/ 19Gallon tank

I dunno how many gallons your truck is, but if its 20 or under, your gettin at least 15MPG with that truck.... nothin to complain about

Diesel here in Chicago is at $4.30/gal!!!! Gas is up to 3.75 for premium already, and spring is barely here.... I fear the summer!!! Im guessin it wil get up to where diesel is.... Supposedly there was an attack on an oil line in Iraq... this is why the prices are goin up

been payin $3.49+ for the past 6 months or so for diesel, last fillup was at $4.09. Diesel is consistantly $1.00 per gallon more than regular and $0.50 more per gallon than premium around here. I get about 500 per tank and burn a tank a week, ends up bein about $130 a week

Some can eek out 50mpg with those things, the original miser car, got 40+mpg all day LONG before hybrids were even on the stealerships lots. Only problem now is with the flipped prices of diesel versus gas a gas car that can achieve a little above 35mpg is about as cost efficient. If I had to get an economy car a TDI would be my choice, miser on fuel and seems to be relatively solid build unlike any civic or yaris or carolla I have ridden in.
