I roll with my windows down year round. You can't roll your windows down either so everyone can hear your bass.....
I beg to differ, I've gotten info on Mt Washington in NH for nearly 30 years since its a local place and always stirs up curiosity. Plus we had "Marty On The Mountain" which was this dude who was amazingly hickish sounding and he did the weathah from way up theah!highest windspeed on the planet was measured here, 207 mph....couple that with -30 and that's one hell of a wind chill
Highest Wind Speed on EarthThe highest officially recorded wind speed on earth is 372 kph, or 231 mph. It was logged on 12 April 1934, at New Hampshire's Mount Washington Observatory.
The 509 kph, or 316 mph wind speed recorded in Moore, Oklahoma, on 3 May 1999, was logged during an F5 tornado. But the measurement was not recorded at "ground level" as the others were. (The instrument was 30 feet up.) A link can be found below to check facts. Should things change, you can trust that the site will be updated fastidiously.
You should include SD in that statement.. it gets as cold here as it does in ND and MN ... you gotta give respect for -58 straight temp record low.. none of that wussy wind chill shit...MN, and ND are the only two states that I respect more than ME for cold to deal with, and anything in the Great Lakes region with the lake effect snow I give mad props to, thats alot to deal with.
Noted... thats a mofo too. I'm sure if we threw Alaska in the mix they can come up with some misery stories. You should include SD in that statement.. it gets as cold here as it does in ND and MN ... you gotta give respect for -42 straight temp.. none of that wussy wind chill shit...
