When I was younger, (under 12), I thought "jump your bones" was like saying "im gonna beat you up". I said it to my dad. God was I embarrassed when I found out the actual meaning. But at least I was young, and that is forgivable. OP if not joking is just retarded.

When I was young (pre-pubescent) I think the terms "jacking around" i.e. goofing around, and "jacking off" were synonomous.

Left some social event in 6th grade and my Dad asked how it was. I said oh it was good we were just all jacking off the whole time.

People said "I want to get laid" all the time on TV shows but I wasn't sure what it meant. For some reason I assumed that it means "I want to take a vacation"
So, last Friday I said to my 50 year old professor "I want to get laid." She was kind of scared, then I went home and looked up the definition.
