alright a friend of mine has a 300zx and he paid this guy 4thousand dollars for his complete setup, box amps and everything, he has 6 61/2 sony explode speakers, a 600x4 sony amp a 1200watt x 2 sony amp and 4 sony explode 8inch woofers and it sounds reallllllly good all the speakers are explodes but the amps are older sony stuff, i mean seriously he got ripd when it came to the price but still it sounds really great like if you heard it without seeing it you'd be amazed seriously and it looks good too

just thought i'd post this because it amazed me

the thing is, it could be THAT much more amazing with good equipment. it might be a great install with good EQ and stuff. its not hard to make 'ok' equipment sound good, but great equipment will take it far beyond good. if you know whati mean...

too bad tho. for 4 grand, id of fiberglassd everything and got him some really nice stuff.

its a really clean install tho, i'll post pics of it, the box and everything is fiberglassed but covered have no idea why they did it that way

x2 I have a bud who has all Xplod, it sounds terrible but hes happy so I keep my mouth shut. Funny thing is though he had the option to get my old 8000's and some Alpine speakers but he went to wal*mart to get Xplod... All cause his dad told him not to buy used "crap."
