My graduate and Neuroscience books totalled $1700..

Even at the local Comm. College. for 15 hours its $540 and the total cost of books run $600-700..

First of all Im sure you could have bought those books used also most schools buy the books back. So you will get back a good chunk of that money back
u must live under a rock to not kno that school books is every students major expense.

ok asshat i've been going to college for 2 years and my books never cost more then $300 so when they tell me $600 it throws you for a loop. they had no used books. i could only find one used book. i even asked the bookstore people if they had any used books at all and they didn't. also there buy back sucks. they will only give me about 10-20% of the money back on the books, if they will even buy them back because they change books almost every semester.

so my brother put 1350 dollars worth of books on my debit card for this year, his freshman year. It was my grad gift to him. I thought it would be more like 300 looking at what courses he took. and yeah even though its my debit card ,my parents deposit money into it for me, so im gonna say that now before parkave says shit lol

when you sell your books back to the bookstore.. they pretty much give you crap.. and then sell it for lots more. so i recommend just selling directly to students. that way you get more money out of it and the customer spends less than at the book stores. thats how i did it.
