This a good price?

$90 shipped for a oldschool rockford fosgate 225.2 with a bunch of raptor wire and some terminals and distro blocks, will put out 650ish rms. Or should I spend more money and get a better amp? I know I could get a 1000+rms amp for under 150. The price was orginally 75 shipped but he never answered my pms and then he put the price up. Or should I get a 400w rms alpine or kenwood I forget for 50 shipped? Want a cheaper amp to power my 15' tc9 for awhile until I have more money.

What should I do?

Thanks

I mean dont get me wrong it will be loud off 450 watts i tried it. but i have about 1300 going to mine and it loves it //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

ya so its either buy a nice amp and get her something cheap or buy her something nice have her happy and then spoil myself later lol. Should I just do the kenwood for 50 shipped that will do around 400w rms? Or do the fosgate? Or what should I do?

thanks for the replies

they are pretty efficent drivers. i say go for something around 400-500 rms now and then upgrade later. and let me know when you upgrade and ill have an amp for you //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

I think I will just go with the kenwood for now thanks. Got any ideas for a box? the pos i built is to tall so i have to lay it down and now im affraid that its gonna move to much and the cone is gonna hit this thing on the top of my trunk no idea what it is but ya. I have a 15" nsqm said about 2.2ish cubes with some polyfill. The box i have now is around 23x18x13.

I appercaite the help.

get some credit and get a good amp 1000wrms+ for $10 down, and get the girl something nice, then she can finish paying 4 the amp when its her turn to buy you something nice //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Well $40 for around 250 watts more I can't really see it being worth it. I can get a kenwood 7202 that will push 460 rms @ 4 ohms. Or would paying the extra $40 for the rockford be alot better?

Thanks
