This a good deal for a RF 800a4?

Found one for about $100 at a local pawn shop...it's in very good condition, but missing the endcaps. My buddy is looking for a cheap sq setup, and we are going to start off by running just the front stage and the sub through the RF if we get it. He wants to get something local asap, as he is leaving at the end of the weekend, so online deals are out of the picture.

The more I think about it, $100 for 100x4@4ohms (underrated at that) is a pretty damn good deal...I can't even let my Taurus go for that little!

That's what I'm sayin'. And I don't give a fat happy fuck what people on the forum say. RF built, and still builds, a nice amplifier.

And you shouldn't let that Taurus go for $100.

I have enjoyed the looks, sound, and output of all but those weird chrome amps they made in the early 2000's. The price is the only thing that deters me from their amps.

The lowest I can let the Taurus go for is $125, else I may as well just keep it. Even despite the fact that I am about to be $5500 in debt, I would still hold onto it until someone throws me at least $125. It's just too good of an amp to sell for any less...Unless it's a friend, then I might do $100 since I know it would be appreciated for what it is.

I don't know how you and Geoff sell some of the stuff you guys sell. I'd get attached to stuff like Rubicon amps, PG Cyclones and Strokers, but that's just me.

Those two Earthquake amps you guys came across are gorgeous too. I wish I could have both of those...

Geoff doesn't get attached to ANYTHING he has lol. I had my heart set on keeping the Cyclone, but now I'm so far in debt I don't ever know if I'll make it out! Sudden oil pressure loss a week later = ~$2000 further in debt

Then I have license and registration to pay for, insurance, and gas. The best part is, all this happened right after my temp job ended. Fml.
