whats your opinion on a DB Drive PD2000.1D......they look pretty good, heard good things about em as "cheater" amps. anyone know anyithing

otherwise.....im looking for a 2000 clean rms @ 1 ohm, possibly half ohm stable amp. price id like to keep as cheap as possible.

love sundown, dc, american bass vfl,AQ/SQ, etc....

for 225 refurbished your not going to get anywhere near unless you go used imho or the lanzar opti's at .5 ohm

Nothing against my hifonics. It's probably the best 2k amp I've had since it never gets hot or shuts off and puts out some good power. Just wanting something different u know....the addiction persists, lol

Kinda liked the refurb pd2000.1D....seen clamp tests where it puts out like 2400+rms at 12.9v plus at 1 ohm....and heard it was stout, just didnt know if the refurb is good or if those were on the brand new ones

Maybe you can find a used amplifier like a arc audio foose edition fd-1200.1 that would give you a good 1,100 watts rms for around $200.

or the newer arc audio class D XDI-1000.1 that will produce 1,150 rms or XDI-2000.1 2000 watts

Find yourself a used Audioque 2200 half ohm stable makes good power or even a american bass vfl 120.1 could find either for around $300 AQ probably a hair under
