SO im checking out the website, and it looks pretty good .. They seem almost the same to me ..

Netflix.. $9 a month and you basically rent and return when you want 1 movie at a time, i think it s like $13 for 2 out at once

Gamefly- $16 month for 1 game out at a time or $23 for 2...

So is it a good deal?? i usually dont buy game or movies ( blu ray ) unless i want it for sure and ill watch or play the shit out of it, and with the buy feature especially for games it seems pretty cool as even new games are avg of $49 to buy..

anyone havbe it , and if so how do you like it

I have netflix. I used to buy one or two new releases every week, so its saving me tons of $.

The downside is that the movies don't come fast enough and I rent 3 at a time for $19.99. I just got Gran Torino last week and its been on the top of my list since release 3 or 4 months ago...

so do they just not have enough movies to send out or what?? obviously the main reason to get this is to get new releases the week they come out.. Also is there an extra charge for blu ray?

I love Netflix. I have a warehouse 1 hour away from me so it takes a day to get a new one. Plus they have thousands of movies to stream Blockbuster and other movie stores dont have, plus TV show seasons.

I have both.... I won the Gamefly for Life promo like 2 years agos so I dont pay for Gamefly. Netflix I pay for, and its great once you get to know how long it takes for them to receive when you send, then you just have to make sure you send back just in time for the new releases to come out or you'll wait weeks to get them....

Gamefly is awesome! I just get a game and play the shit out of it, then send it back once Im done.... and the "Keep it" option is always $10-15 less than the stores. I have bought a few new releases when I got the first (no scratches on disc)....

This is why I dumped netflix. I tried blockbuster as well, but they were the same. I'm a redbox junky now!

I've had Netflix for around 3+ yrs, and I would never go back to renting. I have upgraded to blu-ray, and have the 2 @ a time unlimited...I pay around $18/mo.

I was thinking about getting gamefly, but I don't play video games enough to justify it right now.

BTW...if I send a movie back on Mon, I have one on Wed. I'm about an hr and a half from the distribution center. And, if you put movies at the top of your "queue" before they come out...you won't have to wait once they're released. Its like a "first come, first serve" basis

well it seems you guys like it for the most part... Espercially if you rent 2-3 movies a week ( new release or not ) your saving alot of $$.. $9 a month 3 movies a week.. hell everytime i go to a movie store a BR is 7 bucks for 5 days, so when i look at it in the sense i could rent about 12 movies for the price of one, it seems like a no brainer..

But what someone said, about the "timing"? So do you have to send it back before new release tuesday or how does it all work?
