Thinking about moving...

Well my trip to El Paso was good, liked everything down there, loved the area, and the cost of living is less then half of what it is up here. My g/f's family lives there, and we were talking about looking into apartments down there. If I can get transferred down there, then it's a good possiblity I'll move there. I'd most likely just go to community college down there, since the only other close school is UTEP, and don't really have the cash for that. Their CC is around $700/semester, which is a lot less then I'm currently paying for school.

Anyway, after looking at a bunch of apartments online, I've come across a few of them that would work well. One particularly, 1BR/1BA, 600 sq. ft., dishwasher, ceiling fan, A/C, all utilities paid, $450/mo. On top of that, cable/internet/phone is around $70/mo. Looking at under $600/mo for living.

Now, personally, I make around $1700/mo after taxes. If I can get a transfer and either keep the same pay or get a raise (might inquire about assist. mgr.), I'd be able to pull it off easily, by myself. My other payments (car, phone, etc.) are around $300/mo. On top of that, my g/f pulls in about $600/mo right now, and she'll be getting a job if we do move, hopefully making around the same.

Anywho, just rambling and sharing ideas and such...

Jacksonville is a pretty inexpensive place to live...
x2, or Tampa, I'll be moving to one of these in the next couple months. I know quite a few friends that have nice townhouses for under 1100 a month (split 3-4 ways), so Im sure whatever you need will be much less //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
