thinking about a ZX750.1 on 12" Comp VX

i had a 600.1 but i had someone offer me a lot for it.. enough that i didn't want to say no. so now i need an amp for my new 12" Kicker Comp VX. i'm looking at the ZX750.1 but it makes well over 900W RMS.. as much as 930 possibly. is this too much for a sub that is rated at 750W power handling?? this is my daily driver so i'd be playing it every day.

just set ur gains right so it gets about 750w and CVX is a good sub, youll like it

Both great products. I don't think you can go wrong with that set-up.

just because some people have bench sheets that say 900+ doesn't mean that yours will.

either way it'll sound great.

I have the same setup, one question to you, are you going sealed or ported on the cvx? i'm thinking of going sealed with two 12" CVX's and two 750.1's

it's going in a 1.25 sealed box. i'm going to put some polyfill in there. you have a 750.1 on a 12" CVX? what do you think? got any pics?

Barely placed my order yesterday, ordered two 12" CVX's and a 750.1 ZX, going to start building the box once i get the subs in, i'm also going to use polyfill to stuff the enclosure, gives it a cleaner hit on high notes.
