Yeah, Tempests require a huge amount of space to sound good.

Why dont you go for the Resonant Engineering SE or even the Dayton Audio DVC (very similar to the Shiva)

I had a shiva a while back.

It was one of the best sounding low end subs ive ever heard.

It did need a fairly large enclosure, that was its only downfall.

How much were you looking to get for the tempest ?
