I'm ready for something big. I have an extended cab fullsize chevy with the back seat out, tons of space, not too much money, and I'm great at building boxes so it seems like a good combo. I'm not quite sure on dimensions, but I have at least 50x50x20, which should be enough for a ported 18 cube wall right? I already have 1 hifonics 1206D so I would probably get another and run an amp per 2 subs. My goal is to break a 150. Or is that out of the question with just 1.8kw (mj18's are 4 ohms each, correct? so a 2 ohm load to each amp) any advice on this would be great.

prob wont do 150's, but definately loud and low. It takes a combination of many things to break a 150 - subs, box, and a amp are only a few parts to the puzzle. Anyone who can just say "it will do 150's when im done" is out of their mind. That is, unless they already got a world title under their belt //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/naughty.gif.94359f346c0f1259df8038d60b41863e.gif

seriously though, its not easy.

145.x was done with 2 MJ's in a Saturn with about 2kw. As Dan said, it's not the easiest, but even if you don't break 150 you still have all that eye candy... //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/naughty.gif.94359f346c0f1259df8038d60b41863e.gif
