my housing doesnt sound too bad for cali.....

$325-$425 a month for a one bedroom apartment. It comes furnished, with tv, internet and all utilities. That sounds good, doesnt it?

Those are apartments the college reserves for their students. They were built in 2004, so I'm assuming their not that crappy or anything.

 
is it more expensive in norcal or socal?
in general, socal by far but it all depends where exactly. socal is highest in the nation, but if u lived in the slums i doubt it would be expensive. i have a friend who lives in fremont, but they go to ucla now so no fremont anymore. we did visit his house during our norcal spring break trip. typical norcal weather, neighborhood's not too shabby either.
