Had another run in yesterday with some quality work done by local yocal shops. Friend came by to see if I could help a friend of his with his system. Sure, I didn't know the guy personally but a friend of a friend is good enough for me. So he calls the dude up gives him some directions to my house. The guy shows up about an hour later driving a new porsche Cayyene (sp) My first reaction was d@mn, nice car man. Then I started talking to the guy to figure out what the problem was. He said he had a system put in by one of our local "professional" shops. But he wanted more thump. So I told him to fire it up and see what we're working with. Cranks it up and sounds weak as all get out. So I go to the back and open up the hatch expecting to see some garbage subs in a prefab box or something. To my surprise there sat a pair of 13w7's in a pretty nice and quite large ported enclosure //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/omg.gif.05aa02c3095d6ce9338996654eca0863.gif . Hmmm, maybe the amp(s) are not set right. So I start looking around for the amp(s) I couldn't seem to find them. SO I asked the guy what he was pushing the subs with and where were they. He said the shop put it into the dash. Puzzled by this, I started looking up under the dash with a flashlight looking for some evidence of the amp(s). The dude watching this started laughing. I sat up in the seat and asked what was so funny. He said it's right there in front of your face while pointing at the deck. I said your kidding right. WOW, a professional said that a h/u would run those subs. You think if he was smart enough and already made killing selling the man some w7's he would go ahead and sell him an expensive amp and take the man to the cleaner. Obviously a dumb salesman.

Yeah, no kidding. He could have made tons of money on the amp install and the profit off 2 JL 1000/1s would be enough to feed his family for a year. Crazy.

yea, so in turn he made his shop look like a bunch of dumb @ss's and is now going to lose sales. People are bright as hell sometimes. Especially where ramos lives.

I think Ramos needs to strap a video camera to his forehead all day every day so we can see all of his hilarious stories in real time, it will make them that much more fulfilling. ****, I can only imagine that boating incident, heh.
