It's idiots that go by that way of thinking that causes pits as a breed to have an unwarranted bad rep.

I know too many people that have pits that are just as docile and gentle with kids as any golden retriever or labrador or basset hound or any other breed you could mention that has a reputation for being pretty laid back.
