Yeah, that's not a bad idea //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

Here in the Arizona heat you're lucky to get more than 2 years on a battery, and my last one lasted 6 years! So I thought I'd try to stick with the OEM MotorCraft part //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

Good luck...

Here's a tip in case you come back before actually starting ~

If you have a battery charger handy attach it to the battery cable ends so your radio settings don't get erased while you remove/replace the battery //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

'K.

It happened across my brain long ago to keep some sort of current flowing even with the battery out so I didn't have to reset the clock, the station presets, EQ settings, etc.

It's much nicer to simply pull the old battery out and put the new one back in without having to fight with the radio too. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
