hahah, its just part time jobs so no big deal. Turns out that I did end up getting paid. I told them that if I didnt get paid, dont be surprised if Im not here thursday or anymore. Me getting paid had nothing to do with that threat though, im sure it was just put in late I guess. THe other job is just another PT warehouse job. Nothing special. Pays $12/hr. Work 3 days a week. Im still going to go check it out, just for the hell of it.

If I wasn't already familiar with them I might have bought it just because of the name!!

When I was in High School (and I graduated HS Class of '91 //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif to give you an approximate timeframe) this chick I was dating named Wendy was into them and consequently kinda got me digging on them too.

I hadn't thought about them in some years now until last night I was browsing some oddball website where someone actually mentioned them. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wow.gif.23d729408e9177caa2a0ed6a2ba6588e.gif

So it got me to thinking I needed to go get that and add it to my CD collection. Well, none of the torrent sites I used had it (surprise, surprise) - my cheap CD club website that I belong to doesn't have it - my only out was Amazon.

Unfortunately they didn't have the actual album I was after (entitled Tattoed Beat Messiah) on CD...only on cassette or LP and I do not care to purchase any music on either of those formats though I can play them both in the house should I so choose - but the "Greatest Hits" disc seems to basically be a re-release of Tattoed Beat Messiah and most of the songs on the GH disc were originally on the album I wanted anyway.

So - there's my oddball story for the day.
