That is the MTU student chapter of the Audio Engineering Society's snow statue for winter carnival. All the student groups make a snow statue, and on a wednesday there is what we call the all nighter, which is the last day to finish the statues so the crews work all night til judging at 8am. And everybody whos not making statues gets loaded and wanders around campus getting free food and such. And this collection of speaks blasts music all night and you can normally find a couple hundred people in front of it getting their groove on.
