I generally only poke fun at my own race most of the time. It seems to be socially acceptable to make fun of your own race to an extent, but once you step outside that line you're on pretty thin ice. I do it jokingly though just like Corey, but some people here are racist to the bone and it's actually very despicable. The ignorance of some people is amazing.
