what does the ai-net look like?

hard to describe. Its a pin style barrel connector, that resembles a CD changer connector.

i need to get the xm package. then there are rca outs to the little box and the ai-net plugs into the deck. i then plug the ai-net out on the 420 to the xm tuner. now i should be able then to tune the ipod and xm on the headunit

i'll just order the xm kit and when i actually get my ipod i'll order the 420

ive installed a 420i and I know for sure its not pass through capable.

i'm saying the xm is. i believe if i hook the 420 to the xm tuner it'll work. in any event i need both.

I've never used AI-net on any deck I've ever owned, so I can't help you out on that ice.
