Wedge a 2x4 in there?
Are there brackets made for that specific use? I haven't looked for them, so I don't even know if they make such a thing.

not that im aware of, problem is the actual base of the pole the dish mounts on needs to be screwed into something. Figure a 2x4 is as good of a device to mount it to as any. Might use a couple 4" nails to make sure the 2x4 doesnt fall later on or something like that.
