CJ - I have heard really good things about the iRiver .mp3 players. I had a chance to listen to one very briefly two days ago and I think the earphones sound much better than the ones that come with an iPod.

When looking at the 20 or 30g models the iRiver will usually run a bit cheaper than the Apple , as well.

he has 1000 earphones so i dont think that will be an issue
