THE Thread

I have a comptuer issue. Theres like a split second pause every 2 seconds no matter what Im doing. It didnt used to be this badm but now it never stops. Its so bad now that it affects the music Im playing. I cant figure out how to stop it. Hard disk is being used right at that second. I cant reinstall windows or I would have already, nobody has a working windows XP disk out here.

Sometimes explorer will be using 100k+ of mem. Thats a seperate issue that I think I solved.

Well, I updated with someone's disk, but the disk was so messed up (like everyone elses') that it was missing so many files during the update (home to pro). I dont think I would trust it reinstalling, Cuz if it didnt work Id be without my computer, and furious. And there would be nothing I could do about it //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif. Ill try chkdsk.

The CA clock is notoriously inaccurate...

I set my clock to the 10MHz NIST signal out of Boulder, so I know I'm not off //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
