I've gotten in many a bitchfest with a mod that I saw doing something which I felt was inappropriate. The only result from doing so was my repeatedly being told that "It's the internet, get over it."
I have no fear of retaliation, Mike. If I get on a mod's case and the consequence of doing so is that I get temporarily or permanently banned then obviously my input on CA.com isn't viewed as that important anyway. I'll go elsewhere or just find a different manner in which to spend my time online.
The bottom line remains that even when called out on power abuse by a 'regular' member the bahavior doesn't change and the member calling the mod in question out is pretty much universally viewed as a whiney-***. So I stand by my statement that those of us (the overwhelming majority of the forum members) who aren't mods have absolutely ZERO recourse against power abuse by those that are.
It's apparently an inescapable fact of life and we have no choice other than to **** it up and deal with it. It's unfair, it's BS, and it sets an incredibly bad precedent but again, those that actually care about it are decidedly in the minority.
Regarding the question on how to prepare the chicken you're planning on putting in your alfredo I'm a big fan of marinating the meat overnight in a mixture of Italian dressing and a pinch (or two depending on taste) of Tony Chachere's seasoning.
there is something you can do. if i ever get banned again for BS like i have before. i'll go straight to ssa and spam the piss out of that forum with **** and whatnot, instead of here. that'll really piss off the mods
