i wish i had good digi cam.. my phone has a 1.3mp.. but its still just a phone cam.

I just dont know what sort of camera to buy.. dont know shit about them.. like do i have to spend like $500 to get a good one.. or are the $100 ones good enough for average ppl.

Hmmm... at least a 3 MP cam will do for "average" users... my friend has a NICE Sony 6MP cam and its sexiii... Check this out, I took this pic with HIS cam:
