Cone weight is the biggest issue, if the driver had a particularly heavy cone it will make positive disp. downward.... this can make it reach it's limits of excursion pre-maturely.

I was thinking about getting a DVC4 (like I run in my car) and wire it to 8 Ohms for HT just to see....
