MD will only issue you a CCW if someone has made a threat against your life?

You have to either have a death threat against your life(you have to have a police report), be a business owner that carries large amounts of money (you have to show several bank statements) and of course active and retired law enforcement.

Thats how it was down ehre when I got mine, except withotu the class, since I was in the military at the time. ALl I did was pay money and get fingerprints done.

That's how it is here and is known as a "Shall Issue" state.

Meaning in the legislation that regulates the ability for a citizen of the state in question to have a CCW in the first place has a bit that states so long as the applicant for the permit is not a convicted felon, isn't currently under investigation for any sort of domestic violence-type crimes, no drug convictions (misdemeanor or otherwise) and passes an approved firearms safety course the state has to issue the permit.

Ahhh.. I guess that's what Dev is doing too.. I really think he should be a mod.. I think he'd be good at it..
