i was promoted at work for the last week. i got demoted tonight and found out i have to be at work tomorrow at 5:30am.

Man, those early AM shifts are rough. I would show up and be completely out of it. One of the over-nighters gave me some caffeine pills, which totally jacked me up past the level of being awake into overload mode.
