settings-Im not real sure on the setting in 3-way mode, because currently im in just regular Front/Rear/Sub mode, but it allows me to cross my sub at anywhere from around 60Hz, to 100Hz, and my fronts can be crossed anywhere from 80 up to 200, But im sure the settings are much wider in 3-way mode.
Both are nice units, the glide touch isnt as bad as people say it is, and for somebody like you coming from an eclipse deck, it wont be a hard change (most complaints were fom former alpine owners, and they liked using the rotary encoder to scroll through menus better). The bio-lite on the 9855 is great, and not to mention it has digital time alignment, a 5 band parametric Eq, or a 7 band Graphic. I liked both of them, I upgraded to the 9855 because of the increased preout voltage and the display.
