when running 1 2500d per coil on my 4HP is there anything i should be cautious about?..i read something about power matching or something so that each coil see's the same amount of power how do i do that?

ya. set your gains to the exact same voltage using a DMM, and check it at numerous volumes.

like. set your HU to 80% and set gains (per gain-setting tutorial)

then turn HU down to 50% and check to see if the amps are still reading same voltage...

then turn HU down to 25% and check

when you put the HU down to 25% try to get two decimal points on the DMM (i.e. ##.## instead of ##.#)

after you set gains DO NOT TOUCH YOUR GAIN KNOB! OMGzOR!

Also make sure the Xover Settings, Phase Settings, etc are the same as well.

ok to continue...

after you get the same tone to read the same voltage at many different volumes, it's time to make sure that different tones read the same voltage at the same volume.

aka...

play a 30hz tone, read voltages on both

play a 40hz

play a 50hz

play a 60hz

tweak only the xover setting to make them match up as much as possible (because you already have the gains set to where you want them)
