I made an assumption before I saw it that they would portray a married couple in the flick but they don't.

A good flick, though - and another one based on a true story. Billy Bob seems to have a penchant for true-ish stories. (Sling Blade was filmed in his hometown of Malvern, Arkansas //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif )

Saw two movies that were shot in Louisiana the other day, Skeleton Key (decent but didnt like the ending) and Dukes of Hazard, and the Dukes of Hazard was just wrong they claimed that the LSU campus was some university in the state of Georgia, To me being a student at LSU that like Blasphemy (sp) Hollywood treats Louisiana like shit sometimes

I haven't seen Dukes Of Hazzard - and don't plan to. I heard there was a jump over a freeway somewhere in the course of the movie that was over I-10, though.

Don't get me wrong - I never said he could act - only that he appears in the movie. If you've seen Sling Blade think about Dwight Yoakum's part. If you've seen Black Dog think of Randy Travis' part, etc etc etc.

Seems that the majority of country singers that try to get into acting....shouldn't.

It was decent, On a lighter note, are you going to that import face off show up in gillam in march, USACI is going to be there. Me and alpineinstaller are going up there to compete

I was unaware there was even an event planned. But now that I do know I'll certainly make an effort to be there. I wouldn't go to compete (I don't think I've got sufficient gear to do so plus I really need another enclosure before I could even think about it to begin with).

Are you talking about up there at the dragstrip? (only thing in Gilliam I can think of that is big enough to host a sanctioned event) At any rate that's only a 20 minute or so drive for me so I don't really have an excuse NOT to go, eh?

Yep up at red river raceway. This will be the Third year in a row that Ive gone. Pretty decent show though. Of course it has the car show, but also a sound off, Drag Races, and other car show related events. Ill see If I cant find some info on it and PM it to you
