That was textbook VBIED procedure. Driving on the car in front of it, very close up. Basically being sort of impatient. Also he jumped accross 2 lanes to go int he lane it went into. That lane it went into is for DOD only, all cars know this, so when it jumped like that it should have been a sign. It had been sitting way back in the search lane when there were no other cars waiting to be searched. Usually when that happens, they close the gate, and put the spike strip up and send the dog over. I guess it was just one of those days. It sucks though. But something like that recently happened, I watched the whole thing, we were all waiting to light this car up ( I just happened to be there).

Hehe, Ive been getting asked this question a lot lately. Tell you the truth I dont know. It was good timing on their part, pretty much. I wish I had not though. But its almost over.
