my project is a little above my experience, I have never built pods out from the door, and they have to look very close to what it might look like if the car came that way

You could do it ... it's just the last part of that which would be somewhat tricky.

I am in the same boat. My project is above my experience level as well. That is why I feel very lucky that Steve is going to give me a hand. I am sure I can learn a lot from him. After that I would be more than willing to see what we could get done for your pods. I talked to Ryan for a while, and I am going to have to pull off my door pannels,

 

one obstacle, how to attach to the door with out damage so they can be removed without a mark,

 

2nd problem, odd space to work with, and part of the surface underneath the planned location of the components is leather

 

3rd, building a close arangement baffle, and design best enclosure for extended mid bass

I really want to do a little bit of mobile video ... but it's just so expensive.
