'Twas his idea to split the payments up.

It really didn't matter anyway, because once I sold my 12AU7 preamp I could pay for the rest of it. So that's just sitting in my account.

None externally - it's an integrated amp design. Uses 12AX7's in the preamp stage, and 12AU7's as drivers for the power tubes.

The NAD is getting assigned to HT duty.

"12AU7" is a certain type of vacuum tube - actually, a low-level dual triode, used in preamps or driver stages for larger tubes.

I meant 12AU7 preamp....but I was being blind and not seeing it was only a preamp. So that answers my question.
