They're fun to watch when they're feeding, though....

flying low over the water....looking around....then all of a sudden they open their mouth and SCOOP!!! something gets snatched right out of the water...

I'd hate to live in florida or louisiana.

Flordida is nice. to visit for a few months. But year round....nope. Though, my life would be different if i was living there.

When I visited your state, it was for the 4th of July weekend. I quite enjoyed it....but I hate skeeters.

Yep.Our state bird is officially the pelican but it really ought to be the mosquito. Certainly they are seen much more often in the more inland locales....

I heard it was the state bug. And then crawfish and stuff. weirdos.

Our state flower is the Magnolia.Even more boring...
