what would one need to get to have bass(not talking about the little woffers in a prefab box/amp)

Full range front speakers.... think 3-ways with ported 8, 10, or 12" subs..... or you get a plate amp and build yourself a sub and use the receiver's "sub pre-out".

My facts are straight.... almost none of the receivers Dre was interested in have the switching.... therefore, when you say it's "not worth buying" to my link...you are indirectly saying 90% of what he had looked at purchasing was not worth buying. When the truth is, most of them have been worth it.
